Veterinary Technician
Full-time position available. Experience as a Veterinary Technician in an Animal Hospital or Clinic is required. Job duties include but are not limited to:

Checking animal's health and temperament
Performing physical exams
Giving vaccinations and taking blood
Calculating drug doses and assisting veterinarians with spay/neuter surgeries
Entering required information into computer

Customer Service Representative (Part Time Position)
Responsibilities include assisting prospective pet owners in finding pets suitable to their lifestyles by providing information about our programs and services. Job duties include but are not limited to:

Some office experience
Good telephone skills
An understanding of animal breeds and temperaments
Ability to work in a team atmosphere in a constantly changing environment
Good communication and organizational skills
Computer literate

Animal Care Associate
To provide humane care and treatment for the animals in our shelter. To assure and maintain the established standards in order to make the animals stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Job duties include but are not limited to:

Responsible for the cleaning and disinfecting of assigned dog kennels and cat cages by opening time (currently 10am).
Visually inspect animals for overall health problems and follow-up if necessary.
Feed and water as per prescribed amounts based on age and size.
Ensure and maintain the proper handling of animals throughout the shelter.
Maintain a professional and cordial working attitude and appearance.
Bathe animals when assigned (as needed).
Provide accurate information and friendly service to the public.
Remove cage cards; disinfect kennels and runs for new arrivals.
Assist in the Clinic as needed.
Act as lead worker for any volunteer assigned to area.
Periodically spot clean assigned kennels.
Prepare assigned kennels for Shelter closing (currently 7:00pm)
Maintain and clean bathing room on a daily basis.
Other duties as assigned.
