 PetSet Membership
details
As you probably already know, PetSet
is a young professionals fundraising organization that supports the
Humane Society of Broward County. Our monthly socials range
from typical "happy hour" socials at local restaurants and
bars, to our signature events such as
Pajama Jam, White Party, Moonlight and Martinis and
our Halloween Masquerade.
The Humane Society of Broward County receives no government funding; therefore, it relies entirely upon private donations and special events for financial support. Through the efforts of the Humane Society of Broward County, nearly 10,000 animals will find loving homes and over 150,000 children and adults will be educated about the proper care of pets this year. All of the proceeds from PetSet events go directly toward supporting the shelter's orphaned animals and its humane programs. PetSet’s current Board of Directors is headed by Nikki Worsnop and has an established membership of more than 1,200. The majority of membership is comprised of young professional adults ages 21 to 40. You can either join PetSet at one of our events, mail a check to the Shelter, or join online.
