| PAWS on the Green another sell-out Ladies Invitational Golf Tournament raised almost $150,000; Doggie Ball "A Night in Co-PAW-cabana" raised $155,000 and Harley Dog Days VI "Hollywood for PAWS" raised an ALL-TIME record breaking $163,000. Our Angel PAWS, Honorary Luncheon & Fashion Show is still the talk of the town today. We've heard from everyone - YES we are hosting Angel PAWS again this November honoring our TOP 10 Corporate Sponsors. So what else is new this season? Glad you asked - We have an exciting, fun-filled afternoon scheduled for our Fall Membership Event "Bucky's Bark-B-Q" presented by Bucky's Grill. Bring your kids, grandkids and your four-legged friends out to Hugh Taylor Birch State Park in September. Break out those paint brushes and dust off those blank canvases, our Spring 2008 Membership Event, the long-awaited "Art for Arfs" will be held at the New River Fine Art gallery on Las Olas Boulevard in April 2008. Gentlemen you've been asking for it and now we're bringing it back; this time with a twist! "Cat-Sino Royale" will be held at the Hyatt Pier Sixty-Six, Panorama Ballroom on Saturday October 6, 2007 featuring the Grand Poker Tournament and the "Vespa" martini. "Lot's of JAZZ and all that PAWS-azz" is the theme for this season's signature Blue Jean - Black Tie Doggie Ball. Look at our Calendar of Events for more details and our other exciting events scheduled for this season. Did anyone say "Harley Dog Days" in 2008.. It has been such and honor to work with such a wonderful group this past season, I'm even more honored you've asked me to stay on anther season. I couldn't ask for a more committed, passionate, fun-loving group to work with. We have this much fun and we help the animals too - WOW! So how much do you think we'll raise this season? PAWS: Auxiliary of the Humane Society of Broward County President's Message ![]() WOW! What a season! Every year, somehow - someway we take it up another notch and have even more fun and raise even more money. We raised over $525,000 for the Humane Society of Broward County during our 2006 - 2007 season. WOW! So what does that really mean? If the average cost is $300 per pet HSBC finds a new loving home for – 1,750 pets found homes because of PAWS. PAWS makes a difference!
