Intermediate Dog Training Class
Does your dog have the basics down pat? Take his skills to the next level with the Humane Society of Broward County’s Intermediate classes on Monday nights at 6:30 p.m. at the shelter. As always, it’s all positive reinforcement, making it fun for you AND your dog!

If your dog has a good grasp of cues like sit, lie down, come, stay, and loose leash walking, all with low-level distractions, this is the class for you! Our Intermediate class will help you improve your dog’s follow-through during challenging exercises that incorporate increased distance, duration and distractions. This class will also prepare your dog for the Canine Good Citizen test, which is offered at the completion for a small fee.

The five-week class will also cover “Stand,” “Heel,” “Leave it,” hand signals, target training, tricks,
and more.

Prices are just $65 for dogs adopted from a shelter or Animal Care and Regulation, or pit bulls
and pit bull mixes, and $95 for all other dogs. Click here for a registration form.
